Ben Watts is a New York City based actor.  Born and raised in Belleville, Illinois, he attended college and worked professionally in St. Louis before relocating to New York.  Ben studied at the Pierre Laclede Honors College at the University of Missouri-St. Louis and graduated with a B.A. in Theatre and Dance.

Most recently, Ben appeared as Lucio in The New Collective’s Measure for Measure. He’s also worked regionally with companies such as Shakespeare Festival St. Louis, the Provincetown Tennessee Williams Theater Festival, St. Louis Shakespeare, HotCity Theatre, and Stray Dog Theatre.

Ben is also an experienced cabaret singer.  He has attended numerous workshops and masterclasses, including the St. Louis Cabaret Conference—the largest cabaret training program in the country—where he studied with Marilyn Maye, Faith Prince, and Christine Ebersole.  Since premiering his solo cabaret, Wonderful Enough..., in May 2015, Ben has gone on to perform at a variety of venues and events, including the Gateway Men's Chorus, the Gaslight Cabaret Festival, New York’s 53 Above and the Sheldon Concert Hall where he opened for Jason Robert Brown.
